Women at the BBHH boothBakersfield Behavioral Healthcare Hospital was proud to be a part of this year’s Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Business Expo held at the Marriot Hotel in Bakersfield California on August 30th, 2018.

The Business Development Department was out to speak to more than a thousand in attendance about Mental Health, Addiction, and Suicide Awareness and Prevention.

In Kern County, the Hispanic community makes up more than 57% of our demographic and BBHH believes strongly in ensuring that they are provided information and services in Spanish to ensure that everyone in our community has the needed help that they deserve and need.

Throughout the day, this year’s Business Expo had various speakers addressing topics such as “Engaging Employees & their Healthy Workforce Studies”, “What are the Financial Trends for Small Business”, “Working with General Media & Spanish Media”, along with special guest speakers, Pepe Serna (actor) and Bakersfield’s first female President of CSUB, Dr. Zelezny.

Each booth throughout the expo brought great information, helpful and healthy tips, and fun prizes to be won. Everyone in attendance expressed their gratitude for everyone’s hard work and we at BBHH would like to thank the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for including us in this year’s amazing event. We look forward to many more years of serving our community in every way possible.
